We are thrilled to be able to invite Spark Young Writers and their families or friends to join us to celebrate another wonderful year of writing.
On Saturday 13th July 2024 we will present certificates to any young writers present, hear some of their work and hear from former Birmingham Poet Laureate, and star of the Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Casey Bailey.
The event will be held at The Exchange, Centenary Square which is opposite the Library of Birmingham. We would like the young writers to arrive at 1.30pm and we will open the doors to their well-wishers at 2pm. We anticipate the whole event will be finished by 3.45pm at the latest. We cannot guarantee that late arrivals will be awarded their certificate, but you will be able to collect it from members of staff afterwards.
