Summer Writing Challenge resources

We set our young writers a challenge – five days of writing prompts, complete with explanatory video and worksheet. The worksheets are both printable and interactive with links to additional resources. The poet Liz Berry has devised the series and filmed her instructions for the young people. You can do them one per day, you can do one a week, or you can save them up and do a challenge marathon – it’s up to you when you do it.

You can also choose how much of the challenge you do, and if something inspires you – go with it! You don’t have to follow all the prompts as written. The main aim is to get writing and have fun.
