Group Locator

All our groups are meeting online in 2020-21, but we aim to meet in person as soon as restrictions allow.

Please use the Group locator below to find your nearest group.

We are running two “Online Only” groups designed for people who can’t access our other groups.

They do not appear on the group locator as they are not location specific, but you can find details by clicking on one of the buttons below.

See below for a map of where our groups are plus details below of age ranges. You can also sign up for the Young People and Schools mailing list.

For exact times and dates of each group, please see below.

Groups are divided roughly into school years 3-6 (junior aged children), and school years 7-12 (secondary school aged children.)

If you have any questions about Spark Young Writers, please have a look at our Young Writers FAQs  page.

There are opportunities for group members to share their work at events for family members and friends as well as more public events. In previous years, members of the groups have shared their work at the Birmingham Literature FestivalLedbury Poetry FestivalCoventry Mysteries and Wenlock Poetry Festival. Several have also been involved in publications and regularly submit to Spark Young Writers Magazine.
