Snoring

Mom makes a grunting sound,
Like a pig that weighs a pound.
Grandmother makes a sniffling grunt,
Taking after her daughter – the runt.
Dad makes a swish, swish, swish,
Like a fairy making a wish.
Granddad makes a snore, rumble, snore, rumble,
Like a giant tied in a bundle.
Sister makes a swash, swash, swash,
Like the ‘I can Cook’ lady who sings ‘wash, wash, wash’.
But I make no sound at all, but if I do,
My sounds are very small.
