Like its happening right now
Right in front of your eyes

Like a tape rewinding in your head
I told you to forget
To forgive
To make amends
But you ignored me
Because your anger
Was like a burning hole of fire
Eating away at your heart
And the silence between you
Was like a wall
A Dam that could not be moved
Would not be broken
No matter what
Until the day the mirror of silence was shattered
