This group is aimed at young people in school years 4 – 9 (aged 8 – 14). 

Led by writer Alison Manning with an assistant writer, the group will meet in Nuneaton Library and Information Centre from 10:30am – 12:30pm on the following Saturdays:

19th September 2026

17th October 2026

14th November 2026

12th December 2026

9th January 2027

6th February 2027

13th March 2027

10th April 2027

8th May 2027

12th June 2027

The sessions cost £10 each when booked for all remaining sessions. Alternatively, you can choose to book a one-off taster session so that your young writer can try before they commit to the programme. 

You can choose to pay in one lump sum or pay by monthly recurring card payments. 

Please note, we encourage young people to join one group for the year, as getting to know their fellow group members is an important part of developing as a writer.

The young people will need to bring:

A notebook or some paper
A pen or pencil to write with
A snack and a drink, if they want one
