This group is aimed at young people in school years 4 – 7 (aged 8 – 12).

Led by writer Nathan Lunt with an assistant writer, the group will meet at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, from 1:45pm – 3:45pm on the following Saturdays:

19th September 2026

24th October 2026

21st November 2026

19th December 2026

16th January 2027

20th February 2027

20th March 2027

17th April 2027

15th May 2027

12th June 2027

The sessions cost £10 each when booked for all remaining sessions. Alternatively, you can choose to book a one-off taster session so that your young writer can try before they commit to the programme. 

You can choose to pay in one lump sum or pay by monthly recurring card payments. 

Please note, we encourage young people to join one group for the year, as getting to know their fellow group members is an important part of developing as a writer.

The young people will need to bring:

A notebook or some paper
A pen or pencil to write with
A snack and a drink, if they want one
