UN Sustainable Development Goals

Writing West Midlands is committed to supporting the UN Development Sustainable Goals. These three will be our focus for Spark Young Writers:

We provide quality education through delivering our Spark Young Writers groups, maintaining high quality creative writing group sessions.

We offer gender equality as we make no distinction about the gender of our participants.

In support of positive climate action and to reduce our CO2 impact we place our groups around the region and work with writers living locally, as much as possible. We put groups in locations which are accessible by public transport. Both of these active decision making processes encourage the use of public transport and reduce the amount of travelling required.
