Snap!
I’ve captured the moment
and captured your smile,
I’ve shoe-shined your face
As you paused for a while.
Snap!
I’ve made a solution
To lack-lustre years,
I’ve soaked up your heart
And hung up your fears.
Snap!
I’ve focused your dreams
And taken your worries,
I’ve peeked through the surface,
Seen last minute flurries.
Snap!
I’ve caught all the days
And all of the nights,
I’ve sharpened our love
And blurred all our fights.
Snap!
And though I’ve forgotten the truth of it all,
Who cares if these big things one day will be small?
We’ll look back at photos and remember the time,
When vignette was compulsory
and exposure a crime.
