Terms & Conditions

When submitting your writing to be featured in Spark Young Writers’ Magazine all young writers under the age of 18 will be asked to provide the contact details of their parents or guardians. Sometimes we may contact the parent/guardian given to check information provided.

Due to the number of pieces of writing received not all of the writing submitted to be published in the magazine will be featured. However, all young writers will receive feedback on every piece that they submit from the magazine’s editor and if we feel pieces are suitable to use in future editions of the magazine, we may contact the parents/guardian’s of the young people who have submitted writing to ask to feature it.

We reserve the right not to publish writing that is offensive or inappropriate for the target age-range of the magazine.

All writers who are successful in submitting to the magazine will receive feedback on their writing from editor. This feedback will be sent by email either as the issue is published or just before.

All pieces featured in the magazine will be proofread and any minor changes will be made to the text, if the editor of the magazine feels any other editorial amendments are needed, we will contact your parent/guardian in advance of the publication of the issue.

All the writing featured in the magazine remains the property of the young writers who have created it.
