As a way to mark the incredible writing that has taken place this year at our Spark Young Writers sessions, we’d like to make an Anthology featuring the work from as many of our Sparks Writers as possible. Unlike the magazine, each piece submitted (as long as it falls within the submission guidelines – below) will be accepted. We will edit out obvious errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar and are working with a professional editor to bring the book together.
Instructions for submitting writing can be found below and the answer to some of your questions might be found at the foot of the page. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
You can upload your submission to the Anthology below. Your writing will be included with the writing submitted by other Spark Young Writers and made into a book which you will be able to buy online as a paperback or ebook.
Submission rules:
- Maximum of 500 words per child. It can be more than one piece, but no more than two please. If you want to submit poetry, we can accept up to three pieces with a total of 70 lines.
- Name of child. Full name preferred, but we will accept just a first name.
- Title for piece.
- Name of group.
Deadline for receipt of the writing: 9am, 22nd July 2024
